Making Tax Digital (UK) and IP

Hello,
I am wondering if anyone in the UK is using Invoice Plane in the UK, and if they do, how do they cope with MTD ? Do they use an extra software or did they add an extra module to IP ?

I have seen a previous conversation about this, but that did not bring any answers except that IP does not support MTD out of the box (and will not).

@ComputingFroggy let’s figure this out for version 2 of Invoiceplane.
I saw that crafter mentioned something about keeping a log of the taxes and making it exportable.
If you know the rules that are needed (I quickly read the thread), we can try and find a solution
