Editing a Quote By a customer

Can Quotes be edited by a customer. For example suppose there are three products in a quote, but client may need only one at this point, so my client will just select the product he requires and deselect the others and the product total price will be calculated accordingly.

I thought the client users (customers) could only view the quote, not edit them? Not sure though

No. Only admin users can edit quotes.
