Import Data - confused

Hello,

I have installed InvoicePlane and things are looking good. I have exported data from my previous invoicing software. This is what happens with InvoicePlane:

  • Settings -> Import Data
  • Click “New” button
  • Goes to “Import from CSV” screen, I click “Import”
  • I then just get another record in the Import Data screen

I’m not sure if this is a bug or I’m not understanding how it works.

Have you carefully read and followed the instructions in https://wiki.invoiceplane.com/en/1.5/system/importing-data?

As stated in the wiki, the import tool is rather strict with the requirements,

The import tool assumes the following:

  • The file names will be exactly as they are listed below.
  • […]
  • If any of the rules above are not met, the import will not work as expected.
