Stock info held where?

I joined some time ago but am still a total beginner with InvoicePlane.

I have been reading posts and info and found one entry where it says Add Product. Further reading shows this to be adding a product for a customer for a particular invoice.
Is a product and price held for each customer or is there a stock database somewhere where items are pulled from ?

There is a “Products” tab in the main menu where you can add products. However, these are more like templates and do not have a stock or something like that.

I do have programmed stock for the products. And a new warehouse module.

That would make this project even more interesting.
I still have to install the software and try it out proper.
