Create new invoice doesnt fill in fields

when i create a new invoice, when i fill in the row for item name and price etc, it does not fill in the sub total or total fields, they stay at 0.00

hope you can help because i do like the look of this and thank you for giving such a helpful open source application

I take it you are saving the invoice?

The totals do not update in real-time…you need to save the invoice in order to reflect the totals.

thank you, I thought I was saving them because i could edit afterwards but i must have been doing something wrong because it now works.
