Custom field not showing in emails

Hi,
I have set a custom field, but the email template just display nothing.
I have even created a second test custom field which aren’t showed either.

In Email Template the custom field is defined:
{{{ip_cf_1}}}

There is an DB entry for that.

How can I check/test/debug/solve this?

My IP version is 1.5.2
