Total QTY and Line count

Hello

Is there a way to add a total line count to the invoices and quotes and total items…e.g:

if 6 watches were purchased
+2 batteries

then invoice/quote would show:
Total Items: 8
Line Count: 2

Is it possible? Many thanks in advance.
