Upgrade issue if custom field added to previous version

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am using the version 1.4.6 and now want to upgrade it to 1.4.9, I added some custom fields in previous version, what should I care if I plan to upgrade to newer version, any best practices to do the upgrade?

Does InvoicePlane do the same like WordPress that customisation can be done by separated file rather directly to the core file, so it may help developer to customise the InvoicePlane to fit for specific need but easy for version upgrade.

I always have new idea but I am not very strong in coding, am I eligible to contribute the development?

Hi there,

custom fields will not be touched while updating InvoicePlane. If you changed any core files you may backup them to properly restore them after the update.
