Inline CSS being stripped from e-mails/e-mail templates

Hey,
I notice when e-mail templates are saved, the inline CSS is wiped & it only leaves what’s between embedded <style> tags.

Looking at this topic, I think there’s been some confusion:

Inline CSS is what’s put directly in the element via style=“blah”
<style> </style> is embedded CSS

Many e-mail clients, most notably Gmail, strip all <html>, <head>, <body> & <style> tags, which means there is currently no way to style e-mails sent to the biggest providers!

Until this is fixed, the e-mail function is unusable for us :frowning:

(Just to add a mention, I can’t disparage the rest of the work on this project - you’ve done very well, thank you!)

Cheers,
