Prefilled form selections for item description in quotes and invoices.
Currently we choose a product and add it to quote/invoices and it adds the product description.
It might me Product: widget A) then the description might say “Widget a with 10 year widget warranty 3 widgets by four widgets wide.”
Then after that in the invoice or quote We type Installed to … Bathroom, Hallway, garage etc. Installed over old widgets. Takeaway old widgets. Clean up and seal new widgets.
I would love a bunch of check boxes to click that would paste lines I created in the description as some staff are now great typists.
just clicking a button would paste the words to the description.
Eg
the selectable prefilled options I could add to the description might be in brackets
(installed to…) (Garage) (Hallway) (Kitchen) and (lounge)
(remove old widgets) and (recycle/dispose of old widgets)
The words/sentences in brackets could be added buy the user in the back end on and applied to each product category it is relevant to and then show as clickable buttons that could make filling in the item description super fast.
there should be the ability to change the order of how they appear in the invoice or quote once the prefilled form options are added by the IP user.
(my boss requested this as he is a terrible typist)
