Hello, how are you, I have InvoicePlane 1.5.11 installed locally on my PC, I understand that no email service will work because it is local and not on a server and therefore I can’t reset the administrator password, only the guest password through the administrator, How can this be resolved ?
- Go to your phpMyAdmin
- go to the users table
- edit the user for which you want to reset the password
- Scroll to the password field
- set the “type” (or whatever it’s called) to “password”, it’s a select box with lots of functions, the past one is “password”
- Enter your new password in plain text
- Hit save
Yes, I know how to do it but it is not what I need, I need the administrator to be able to recover the password for himself through email, I did my research and I can configure an SMTP server to work but I have no idea how complicated it would be to get in touch Well, if anyone has experience in this or has a module for password recovery using security questions, it would also help me, thank you
That’s a security problem and that can’t be in InvoicePlane V1.
You were creating your own project, correct?
Why don’t you build it yourself?
I’m on that but it was to see if there was a branch or something like that that contained that security, thanks for the support
