Guest url email

Hey,
Has anyone been able to send the guest url through IP? at the moment I have to copy and past outside of IP.

Hi @GraemeW - What do you mean “Send a guest URL through IP”. Are you referring to when you’re sending out an invoice to a client, you want to include the guest URL inside the initial email?

Yes, when creating either a quote or invoice the guest url only shows once the status has changed to sent, but does not get sent with the email just the pdf, I like the guest url as it shows when it is viewed by the client.

Hi @GraemeW - So yes, you can use this tag {{{invoice_guest_url}}} inside your email template. This will generate the guest url inside the body content of the email.

In the top right, click Settings → Email Templates → Choose your template

Then in the body, change the content so that it includes that tag somewhere, including all of the brackets {}.

Thanks for your time in responding, It does yes paste a link into the email I get the following problem
tho, it creates this link

https://site//invoiceplane/index.php/guest/view/invoice/

it should be along the lines of

https://site/invoiceplane/index.php/guest/view/invoice/Q3TRWCvDfuLbnjeHhd1tBS684x9iJkN0

looks like it’s not inserting the actual quote or invoice number to the end.
