Hi, isn’t it more logical to display the company name from the user settings in the default layouts, instead of the user name (between the h2 tags)? Just an observation. This is possibly something that needs to be changed due to a recent change to allow “company name” inside the user settings, but it isn’t reflected yet in the templates. 
It would be nice if this was fixed. Thanks!
This is an issue that was reported and discussed way back but there is no solution yet as the relation between user name and user company is quite important and can’t be changed without hassles.
Yeah but is changing the layout of the default invoice from <h2>$user->name</h2> to <h2>$user->company</h2> that problematic?
No thats not the problem. The problem is that at the moment most users used the “Name” field (which is the username) as their company name field.
Hmm well that design flaw has been fixed now, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to suggest it’s time for the users to adjust their settings. Don’t you agree?
Sure it should be fixed but everything needs their time and easy to fix problems come first.
