Emails sent but not received by hotmail

Hello fellow geeks, so this is probably a topic which has been discussed before, I am using SMTP to send emails, it works to other domains and the email is received accordingly, but if the customer uses Hotmail, the recipient will not receive it. Any clues?

Looks like this might be a problem for hotmail support.
