That definitely looks like the right solution overall. I shall give it a try on my dev boxes. This would also fix an issue where background images fail to load, as they are retrieved using the same method.

While this should fix the issue, I’ve not been able to get it to work on my dev box 
. If I find myself with more time to test, I will dig a little further. In the meantime, the hosts file entry resolves these issues. An entry in the servers local DNS server would also do the trick, as long as that DNS server isn’t publically accessible.
